Following the successful Dunes Edition in 2026, the Morocco Desert Challenge is ready to raise the bar once again. The twelfth edition (8-17 April 2027) of the world’s largest amateur rally-raid will carry the name “The Fury Edition”—a nod to the raw, unforgiving world of Mad Max, but above all a reflection of what competitors can expect: a rally that is longer, tougher and more demanding than before.
Over the past decade, the Morocco Desert Challenge has grown into one of the world’s leading rally-raid events. Every year, between 200 and 300 teams from more than 30 countries gather to take on Morocco’s spectacular deserts, mountains and endless tracks. Open to motorcycles, quads, SSVs, cars and trucks, the event combines world-class organization with a unique atmosphere that remains welcoming and accessible for both privateers as well as factory teams.
After introducing more sand and more dune stages during this year’s Dunes Edition, the organization is taking another significant step forward. The “Fury Edition” will feature even more dunes, longer special stages and average daily distances of around 300 to 350 kilometers.
The Fury Edition is not just another rally. It’s the next chapter in the evolution of the Morocco Desert Challenge.
