Following the success of the previous edition, which attracted no fewer than 27 cars, the “Adventure RAID” category will once again be part of the Morocco Desert Challenge in 2027. It is the perfect choice for experienced off-road drivers who want to enjoy the adventure without the pressure of competition—or who simply want to join the event because their friends are racing.
The category is equally accessible to complete newcomers. Even without previous off-road experience, you can discover the thrill of driving through the Moroccan desert with the right professional guidance and support. RAID participants follow a parallel route to the rally, adapted to their level. This means they can enjoy the same spectacular Moroccan scenery, the same bivouac life and the same sense of adventure, without the pressure of rankings, timing or competition. It is all about discovery, driving pleasure and being part of the Morocco Desert Challenge community.
For MDC2027, the organisation will again make 10 rental cars available for the RAID category. These cars will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so early registration is strongly recommended for anyone who wants to join the adventure without bringing their own vehicle.
